This year, l’Assemblée générale annuelle 2022-2023 took place on the 23th of septembre. Under the theme cultural exposition, it was possible to observe some canvas about the Activities report 2022-2023. There was also a narration made by Cloé Horth-Lapierre, our summer animator. 10 people were present. Some prices were given to our members that were present.

Renovation of our website

We are happy to announce you that our website was modified to match Épilepsie Gaspésie Sud’s image better. The year 2023 was a year where the association tried to build a new image. For this reason, we take advantage of this occasion to announce that the association will have a new logo by the end of the year. They will have further information about this in the future.

“Vide grenier” 2023

On April 29th 2023, Épilepsie Gaspésie Sud was at the “vide grenier” hosted by the Comité jeunesse from Paspébiac. Like you probably already know, Épilepsie Gaspésie Sud like to participate frequently to this kind of event since we are in direct contact with our community.

“Lac-à-l’épaule”

On June 29, 2022, the Association Épilepsie Gaspésie Sud organized a “Lac-à-l’épaule” day with their two new employees from the Canada Summer Project, Cloé Horth-Lapierre and Maya Lantin, with the objective of planning the summer of 2022.

“Barman d’un soir”

The project ”Barman d’un soir”, holded by the Centre Culturel de Paspébiac, took place on July 12th. This project, who took the form of a 5-7, was inviting people from the population to be a barman for one night and to donate their tips to an association of their choice. The Association Épilepsie Gaspésie Sud raised a total of $1,001. Thank you very much Mario for your generosity, we are grateful to you!

Défi-Simon

On July 8th 2022, Manon Lebrasseur, coordinator, and Mylène Poirier, member of the board of directors of Association Épilepsie Gaspésie Sud, went to Sept-Îles, in the Côte-Nord, to assist to the arrival of cyclists from the second edition of Défi-Simon. Cyclists have traveled 807 kilometers for epilepsy and for men. The team from Association Épilepsie Gaspésie Sud congratulate and thank you for this initiative full of perseverance, courage and dedication.
